Singles from KennyHoopla and Revival Season are among the favourite tracks new on Live4ever’s radar this week.
KennyHoopla has paid tribute to Sonic Youth and Ride and hailed the influence of 90’s shoegaze on his new single ‘NORTHERN LIGHTS//’.
“I made this song in my basement with my friend,” he’s said. “I think it sounds like that, this song went through a lot of phases but I think it ended up back in its rawest form.”

Joe Goddard will release his Kinetic EP on May 9th.
Primed to be more club-driven than the Harmonics album and Neptunes EP that preceded it last year, guests including Dynamite MC, Ward 21’s SUKU and Pinty have contributed to the new cuts Image And Style, Ace, Flex, Buffy and Hold Me Tight.

Adrianne Lenker has announced the release of a new record entitled Live At Revolution Hall.
Described as a, ‘120-minute immersive album’, it’s a collage of three days worth of recordings from the Big Thief member’s 2024 Bright Future touring, bringing together established favourites and previously unreleased tracks including ‘happiness’ which is streaming online now.

Orla Gartland has shared the new single Now What? following the release of her second album Everybody Needs A Hero last year.
“My second album Everybody Needs A Hero came out in October 2024 and I started this year with a strong feeling that I had more to say,” Gartland said.

Revival Season have unveiled a new single and video entitled ‘8’3’ whilst confirming their Formless mixtape will be released via Heavenly on May 16th.
“This is a filthy smudge of a garage rock riff that drives hard against a rhythm track that sounds stoned to say the least,” Jonah Swilley and Brandon ‘Bez’ Evans said.

New Yorkers The Thing have released their double-single’Can You Help Me? / Family Business with their self-titled album due out this summer.
“The inspiration behind ‘Can You Help Me?’ stems from the feeling of discontentment when you have other people do things for you,” frontman Zane Acord said. “Whether it is having other people ‘give you a song’ or control your thoughts and life.”
