Johnny Lloyd will follow-up 2016’s Dreamland with his next solo EP on April 14th.
For Eden, Lloyd rekindled his studio partnership with The Maccabees‘ Hugo White, recording in Los Angeles and at his producer’s long-time Elephant and Castle base. “It was great working with Hugo White and Mike Crossey again,” Lloyd says.
“The Eden EP was recorded over a period of 6 months- Hugo brought so much to it and really put the hours in. ‘Running Wild’ was written in reaction to the live shows – for me the songs about being free and trying to find a place in the world. I’m very happy with how it’s sounding, and looking forward to people hearing it.”
The former Tribes frontman embarks on a UK tour after release, stopping off at Birmingham, London, Brighton, Southampton, Bristol, Manchester and Sheffield.
