Hot Chip have unveiled a remix of Hungry Child, the track which helped to announce their return last month.
It’s Paul Woolford who’s offered a new take on the cut from Hot Chip’s forthcoming A Bath Full Of Ecstasy album. “Wooly was the first person we asked to remix Hungry Child,” they say.
“He is one of the most experienced DJs/producers in the business, responsible for so many great club moments – from ‘Erotic Discourse’ to ‘Hang Up Your Hang Ups’ and many more under his Special Request alias. His remix is a superbly minimalist take on the song.”
A Bath Full Of Ecstasy is out on June 21st and has already sparked tour dates for the band which take them to All Points East in London at the end of this month.
