Director Plex Goldwin has worked on the video for Holy Holy‘s new single ‘Darwinism‘.
It’s from the follow-up to the band’s 2015 debut ‘When The Storms Would Come‘. “We built the song around that opening riff which I came up with while we were on tour last year,” Timothy Carroll explains.
“I remember the boys were all asleep in the apartment and I was looking for a place to play so I locked myself in the bathroom and was making some recordings on my phone. I felt straight away it could work as a full band track.”
“The horns are a fresh thing for us,” Oscar Dawson adds. “We wanted the horns to be textural, using a band like The National or Radiohead as examples.”
Holy Holy embark on a European tour in the autumn which brings them to the UK for gigs at Electrowerkz in London and the Leeds Oporto on September 27th and 28th respectively.
