While the headliners receive most of the hype, as is so often the case it’s Glastonbury’s Sunday afternoon veteran slot which has had the biggest effect on the British public according to this week’s official chart update.
Midweek figures have Lionel Richie‘s ‘The Definitive Collection‘ shooting up to number one from nowhere after his performance at the festival also went out in full on the BBC.
The Who have also enjoyed a boost after last weekend as their ‘The Who Hits 50‘ compilation re-enters the Top 20, while another big Glastonbury act, Florence & The Machine, is currently at #2.
