FFS, the supergroup formed by Franz Ferdinand and Sparks, have added a London date to their short UK tour which begins next month.
The two bands have spent most of their time in Europe since they came together earlier this year, but have found time for gigs in Glasgow and London, as well as an appearance at Glastonbury.
The latest London show is now due up on September 8th at the Forum, adding to previously announced concerts in Edinburgh, Manchester and Glasgow.
“We approached it the way bands do with their first,” Alex Kapranos has said of their first album. “We had the songs first, rehearsed them and then recorded it all together, in a room. So no hanging around or fannying about.”
“The real motivation was to make something new, not ‘Franz featuring Russell Mael’, or ‘Sparks with Franz Ferdinand backing them’.”
