Echo & The Bunnymen have issued the first track from their The Stars, The Oceans And The Moon album whilst detailing some October UK tour dates.
The LP is due out on October 5th and will feature reinterpretations of thirteen tracks from the band’s back catalogue, recorded at Dog House Studios with co-producer Andy Wright. The first pick is Seven Seas, originally on their fourth studio album Ocean Rain.
“I’m not doing this for anyone else. I’m doing it as it’s important to me to make the songs better. I have to do it.”
The October tour will take the band to Dublin before seven shows in England. The current tour is in Edinburgh tonight.
