cruush reveal more from their forthcoming EP.
cruush have shared their latest Nice Things Now, All The Time cut Cotton Wool ahead of its release on April 12th.
It’s described as a song, ‘for all those treading water in their mid-twenties’, by Amber Warren, who added it captures, ‘the essence of imposter syndrome and the sense of isolation that can accompany this stage of our lives’:
It speaks to a fear of not measuring up to expectations and the uncertainty of trying to navigating early adulthood. The title sums up that feeling of being wrapped in soft, insulating material as a way of shielding and protecting oneself from the vulnerabilities we feel during this period of our lives.
“The lyric is an articulation of the common experiences and emotions faced by young adults as we strive to find our place in the world.”
