Catfish & The Bottlemen to headline Community Festival

Catfish & The Bottlemen will headline the Community Festival when it moves to Finsbury Park in London this summer.

The event was launched in a different format back in 2015, when organiser Melvin Benn said:

“This is an urban, multi venue emerging talent event inspired by our love of the fact that live music just never stops getting better. But we want to present it in the Community; in the butchers and bakers and the basement offices and loft bedrooms as well as some of the more established venues of Shoreditch.”

Now, Benn has spoken of his delight at pinning down Finsbury as the new permanent home for Community, where Slaves, The Hunna and The Wombats have also been confirmed for July 1st – he’s said:

“Finsbury Park has been a real hub for live music for many decades, so we can’t think of anywhere better to launch a new music festival in London.”
