Conor Oberst is re-releasing six Bright Eyes albums which have been remastered by engineer Bob Ludwig.
‘The Studio Albums 2000-2011‘ will be available on box-set, vinyl and CD formats from September 16th, with each album getting its own individual release in November.
The collection starts with ‘Fevers and Mirrors‘ from 2000, and includes the stunning 2005 double hit of ‘I‘m Wide Awake, It’s Morning‘ and ‘Digital Ash In a Digital Urn‘ – the former’s mournfully acoustic, classic Americana songwriting making it one of this century’s premier records.
Also included are ‘Lifted Or The Story Is In The Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground‘ of 2002, ‘Cassadaga‘ from 2007 and 2011’s ‘The People’s Key‘.
The Vinyl box-set has all six studio albums across ten LPs housed in tip-on jackets and complete with digital download options. Exclusives include coloured vinyl, photo prints by Butch Hogan and an essay by Nathaniel Krenkel. It’s all limited to 5,000 copies.
