‘The Love Within‘ is providing one of the first tasters of the upcoming Bloc Party album ‘Hymns‘ – and of the sound emanating from the band’s new line-up which has seen bassist Justin Harris and drummer Louise Bartle added to original members Kele Okereke and Russell Lissack.
It now also has an official video, which you can see on Live4ever below.
‘Hymns’ is set to succeed the 2012 LP ‘Four‘ on January 29th next year, and is the result of a shuffle in personnel which frontman Okereke has previously said was essential in persuading him to continue.
“At the start of 2013, when we were touring Four, I had kinda had enough of this vibe,” he told news.com.au. “I felt like if things didn’t change it was the point for me to step away and do something else with my life. But things did change, I feel better for it.”
“Obviously everyone is aware of the line-up situation, this stuff is just coming to light now but we dealt with this two years ago. We had our fights and our conversations two years ago.”
