The final bow for one of rock’s most influential bands is going to be screened worldwide in cinemas on September 28th.
Black Sabbath were fittingly back where it all began in Birmingham for their final ever concert at the city’s Genting Arena earlier this year, and it’ll all be documented on the film The End Of The End, for which a trailer has been released.
A new studio album might have been part of the swansong had original plans come to fruition, but as Ozzy Osbourne explained to Nola, they ultimately decided to ‘opt out’. “In December, I’ll be 68 and I think it’s time to call it the end of the day,” he said. “I’m not saying I won’t get on stage with Geezer or Tony or any of them some time, but officially we’re going to be done.”
