A reissue from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and big UK tour news for Neil Young brought some of Live4ever’s biggest headlines last week.
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will release an expanded edition of Howl next year on their third studio album’s 20th anniversary.
With session tracks, demos, alternate mixes and much more a part of the deluxe box-set package, the re-release joins an anniversary tour of Europe which the band are about to embark on, opening tonight at Copenhagen Grey Hall.
UK shows follow next month, visiting Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Bristol and London.
The Maccabees will continue their return into 2026 with a run of outdoor UK tour dates during the summer.
“The year we’ve just had was so special to all of us,” Felix White has said.
“And so unexpected, that it has put some momentum in everyone collectively…and who wouldn’t want to do all that again.”
The British rock world and beyond have united in their tributes to Stone Roses bass player Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield whose death was announced by his brother Greg yesterday.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce the sad passing of my brother,” he wrote. “Gary Mani Mounfield RIP.”
The Stone Roses were quick to respond, describing Mani as, ‘the greatest bass player and friend we could ever have wished for’, while Ian Brown simply said: ‘Rest In Peace Mani’.

Neil Young And The Chrome Hearts have confirmed the details of the UK and European leg of their Love Earth world tour and will begin at Heaton Park in Manchester on June 19th next year.
Further UK gigs are booked in Chelmsford, Glasgow, Oxford and Cardiff, while an appearance at Virgin Media Park in Cork, Ireland is coming up on the first day of July.
The final show is set for the 16th of that month at the picturesque Villa Manin in Codroipo Udine, Italy.
Kings Of Leon will be back in the UK next summer for three concerts after a year interrupted by a foot injury sustained by Caleb Followill which forced the band to cancel various outdoor European appearances.
“Kings of Leon are updating fans that Caleb Followill has recently sustained a serious injury, shattering his heel and requiring a significant emergency surgery, that will prevent him from traveling and performing,” they said at the time.
“The anticipated recovery process is expected to take 8 weeks, under strict guidance of expert orthopedic specialists. The band regrets to report that they will need to cancel all upcoming UK and European festival headline shows in June and July of this year.”
Lamb Of God have announced the start of a North American tour at The Theater in National Harbor, Maryland on March 17th next year.
The band are set to be supported by Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy and Sanguisugabogg on the tour which Mark Morton has promised will be, ‘the loudest, proudest, floor shakin’-est, earth quakin’-est, ear-splittin’-est, mosh pittin’-est, undiluted, undisputed HEAVIEST tour of the whole damn year’:
“Is this the largest collection of RIFFS ever assembled under one roof? It would seem so. Lamb of God, Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg. Do not miss this shit.”
