An animated video for ‘Boys That Sing’ has been revealed as the posthumous Viola Beach album is made available today.
The promo is a joint venture by Komixx Entertainment and their Warrington-based partners Mackinnon & Saunders Digital Studios. “We are delighted to be able to produce an animation that reflects their songs, creativity and their unique talent,” Andrew Cole-Bulgin, joint CEO and head of Film & TV at Komixx Media Group, says.
“We were very moved by the band’s story, the album is a great legacy of the band’s musical talent and we felt very honoured to be approached by their families to help create the video for the new single,” co-founder of Mackinnon & Saunders, Ian Mackinnon, adds.
The self-titled album is available now at these links via Fuller Beans Records, and will be a lasting legacy for Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe, Jack Dakin and their manager Craig Tarry who were so tragically killed in a car accident back in February 2016.
“We are happy to reveal the music video for ‘Boys That Sing,’ which has been fantastically animated by local animators, MacKinnon and Saunders,” their families have said.
