Squid are at number one on the UK Vinyl Singles Chart.
Savage, the instrumental track taken from the band’s Town Centre EP, leads other Top 5 new entries from Boards Of Canada, Aphex Twin and The Chemical Brothers, with Sports Team back in there thanks to Fishing.
Reflecting the surge in popularity of the traditional format, dedicated vinyl album and singles charts were launched by the Official Charts Company in 2016 with the singles chart compiled from sales of 7″ and 12″ records.
