An extensive Motorhead reissue series which will eventually cover over four decades’ of the band’s career has been confirmed to start on October 25th.
That date will see the release of 40th anniversary editions of the Overkill and Bomber albums, both as hardbound bookpacks in two CD and triple LP formats.
Packed up in the joint ‘1979’ boxset, meanwhile, are the albums mastered and pressed on 180 gram vinyl from the original master tapes; two double live albums of previously unheard concert material from 1979 tours; a 40-page ‘music magazine’ featuring unseen photos and fresh interviews, and much more.
