Shame had new material in tow last night when they lent their support to the under-threat London venue The Social.
As NME points out, the band continued road-testing songs expected to form a part of their second studio album as they aired tunes including Exhaler and Human For A Minute. Check out fan footage below.
While it ultimately lost out to Idles for the number one spot, in our review Live4ever did note that Songs Of Praise, released in the January of 2018, had immediately become ‘the earliest possible contender for album of the year‘:
“Because back in the times before the sneering old men robbed the nineties born of their art, their dole and their dignity, there were a load of bands that made the Northern industrial wastelands what they were, a habitat of dry post-romantic articulation set to music that Metropolitanism couldn’t fathom or give a f**k about.”
