‘Modern Nature‘ is the title of The Charlatans‘ twelfth studio album, due for release early next year.
In the wake of ‘Talking In Tones‘ and a one-off London gig on October 20th, the band have confirmed their new LP will be out on January 26th 2015, featuring the aforementioned track and upcoming single ‘So Oh‘, which is released on December 1st.
‘Modern Nature’ marks The Charlatans’ first studio release since the untimely death of their drummer Jon Brookes last year; “Jon was adamant that there was going to be another Charlatans record, and you have to put that into your own thoughts,” keyboardist Tony Rogers has said.
In March next year a UK tour begins at the Bristol Academy and visits cities including Leeds, Glasgow and Leicester before ending at the Roundhouse in London on the 16th.
