The actor, who started show-business life as a budding garage guitarist, never passes up an opportunity to indulge his first love, and he was back on stage in London last week to perform two songs with Ryan Adams at the Shepherds Bush Empire.

Ryan Adams, meanwhile, is busy promoting his new LP and after shows in Manchester and Glasgow this week will return to the US for a much more comprehensive run of dates.
