As Bombay Bicycle Club prepare to release ‘So Long, See You Tomorrow‘ – their fourth album in five years – through Island Records on February 3rd, an official video for the track ‘Luna‘ has been posted online.
‘Luna’ plays a part in a record which found its genesis as and member Jack Steadman explored India, Turkey and Tokyo. “I think in terms of the album, there’s a romantic side of it,” Steadman has previously said. “There’s a relationship that always seems like it’s in the lurch and ending, but it prevails nonetheless. I feel like we’ve found the balance between making it interesting and intelligent, but also not highbrow or elitist.”
“The whole creation process was a really honest one,” guitarist Jamie MacColl added. “Jack’s not afraid of us saying a part or lyric doesn’t work so we were able to all be very involved at every level.”
Bombay Bicycle Club begin a lengthy headline tour of the UK at the Leeds Academy on March 2nd.
