‘The Waeve’ will be released on February 3rd, 2023.
Graham Coxon and Rose Elinor have confirmed the details of their debut album together as THE WAEVE.
The announcement comes after the duo found solace during that dark winter of 2020 in collaborative songwriting sessions, and after the project was first publicly unveiled back in the spring with plans for a maiden gig at the Lexington in London on May 4th, a show which would prove to be immediately followed up by the release of debut track Something Pretty.
“We’ve been locked away, busy translating the varied sounds of our songs into a dynamic live show, with the help of some great musician friends,” they had said. “We invite you to surrender to the world of The WAEVE.”
Something Pretty doesn’t feature on the resultant LP – the first preview of the James Ford-produced record is opener Can I Call You.
The Waeve tracklist:
Can I Call You
Kill Me Again
Over And Over
Sleepwalking
Drowning
Someone Up There
All Along
Undine
Alone And Free
You’re All I Want To Know
