They’ll be Primal Scream’s first headline gigs since December 2019.

Primal Scream will play big UK shows in Glasgow, Manchester and London next year as part of the celebrations for Screamadelica’s 30th birthday.

With a 12” Singles Box collection and a double-vinyl picture disc of the album due out this week, concerts have been announced at Queen’s Park in Glasgow on July 1st, Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl on the 9th and finally Alexandra Palace Park in London on the 16th when the landmark 1991 record is to be played in full.

A third anniversary release, the Demodelica collection packed with early demos and unfinished mixes, is set to follow the previously mentioned two on October 15th; “It feels amazing to have made an album that when you walk into a record store then you see it up on the wall along with albums like Ziggy Stardust, Transformer and Never Mind the Bollocks,” Bobby Gillespie has said.
