James will be playing the show on July 2nd next year.

James have booked a show at Castlefield Bowl next year to mark the 30th anniversary of their gig at Alton Towers.

Three decades since it was broadcast live by Chris Evans on BBC Radio 1, that night’s setlist will be out in full to celebrate what Jim Glennie remembers as, ‘a crazy day that was nearly defeated by the weather’.

“The gig was even more celebratory due to the near miss. Come and celebrate 30 years since that iconic day, and this time with guaranteed sunshine!”
