It’s not the first time HAIM have been forced to delay their return to the UK.

When Women In Music Pt. III went to number one in the UK last year, the HAIM sisters were quick to promise a tour there in celebration as quickly as possible.

The ‘possible’ has been getting steadily distant ever since, and now it’ll be 2022 before they can offer their thanks in person.

The original set of shows in Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester and London are now due to be preceded by a gig in Ireland at Dublin’s Trinity College, and will take place during the course of just over a week in July next year, with newer appearances in Leeds and Cardiff thrown in.

“If anything, there’s a pervasive sense of laissez faire, of freedom, as well as a celebration of relationships, both being remade and also maintained under modernist pressure,” our Women In Music Pt. III review reads.

“On The Steps, a tentative hand is extended in the direction of the guitar, an instrument which by being given a squawking honky tonk workout is granted a renewed sense of meaning within their writing.”
