Foo Fighters have been one of the busier live bands this year since pandemic restrictions began to be eased.

Foo Fighters will take the place of Stevie Nicks at Shaky Knees in Atlanta this coming October.

“We are thrilled to announce the addition of the legendary Foo Fighters in our Friday night headlining slot,” organisers have said on social media.

The line-up change is confirmed after Nicks revealed she would be cancelling all of her live commitments for 2021 due to her concerns about the current Covid levels in the US.

“I want everyone to be safe and healthy and the rising Covid cases should be of concern to all of us,” she explained.

“Because singing and performing have been my whole life, my primary goal is to keep healthy so I can continue singing for the next decade or longer. I’m devastated and know the fans are disappointed, but we will look towards a brighter 2022.”
