Foo Fighters lead an entirely new Top 20.

Foo Fighters are at number one on the UK Record Store Chart courtesy of their Bee Gees transformation Hail Satin.

The second ‘drop’ date of Record Store Day 2021 has brought a decidedly fresh feel to the Top 20, but Stephen Fretwell’s Busy Guy is one of the more conventional new releases to break into the Top 10.

It’s now nine years since The Official Charts Company launched this chart as vinyl sales surged during the last decade, a trend which continued in 2020 as the format grew for the 13th consecutive year. It is compiled from the best selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
