“It’s about all the rubbish right-wing propaganda you get through your front door,” Squid have said. “It imagines a person with that as their only source of news being taken over by these pamphlets.”

Pamphlets is the latest track picked to preview Squid’s debut album Bright Green Field.

Out on May 7th, its release will be very quickly followed by the band turning their thoughts to brand new music, the Fieldworks tour opening on the 19th of the same month with the intention of testing new material.

“With all this time rooted in one place we’ve been hard at work writing new music together,” they’ve said.

“We thought that this little tour of places, off the beaten track, would be a great opportunity to show you all some new tunes and some REALLY new tunes.”

“We can’t wait to play some places that aren’t on the traditional touring circuit and see all your faces.”
