Playground Festival is returning to Rouken Glen Park in Glasgow with James on board between July 30th-August 1st next year.

James and Leftfield are the biggest new names confirmed for Scotland’s Playground Festival, which is eyeing a return in the summer of 2021.

They’ll both be performing before main act Underworld on the Friday, with Kraftwerk 3D and Nile Rodgers & CHIC completing the weekend of headliners.

“We are very happy to be playing the Playground Festival sandwiched in between Underworld and Leftfield,” frontman Tim Booth has said.

“Underworld have created some of my favourite tracks – at least one will be danced to at my funeral – they are true pioneers of new musical forms that deepen with age.”

Some of the other names booked for the event include Hot Chip, Kelis and Neneh Cherry.
