Slowthai’s follow-up to Nothing Great About Britain album is done.

The Northampton grime star has been on social media to confirm work on his second album has been completed.

Slowthai has been busy this year releasing various standalone singles and collaborating with the likes of Gorillaz and Disclosure.

But it was the more recent cut ‘feel away’ – written with James Blake and Mount Kimbie in Los Angeles – which began the race to a new album, and he’s now confirmed on Twitter that the record is ready to go.

He received much recognition after the release of his debut album in 2019, but needed to apologise after a visit to the NME Awards at the start of this year resulted in some less than savory behavior towards host Katherine Ryan.

Live4ever was also full of praise for Nothing Great About Britain though, making both it and the Peace Of Mind single a part of our Best Of 2019 series.
