All set this year to continue his re-establishment as one of the UK’s biggest live draws after Why Me. Why Not? continued the success of his 2017 solo debut album As You Were, Liam Gallagher has felt the halt to live music during most of 2020 more than most, but he had the chance to perform in an unusual setting last week for a special virtual event which will go out on December 5th.
Down By The River Thames puts Gallagher on London waters with his full band for performances of tracks from those two solo records, as well as of course a generous selection of Oasis classics, some of which he’s suggested will be of the rarer vintage.
“To all my brothers and sisters around the world,” the Oasis frontman has said. “I’m performing a one-off celestial live performance for you to stream, Down By The River Thames, on 5th December 2020. I’ll be performing tracks from my two number 1 solo albums as well as some stone cold Oasis classics, some of which you haven’t heard me sing for a long, long time.”
This will be another gig hosted by MelodyVR, with tickets priced at £16.50.
