The trio were all due to headline Longitude Festival this year.
Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, The Creator and A$AP Rocky will all be returning to Dublin, Ireland in July next year to fulfill the headline roles at Longitude Festival which were taken away from them upon the arrival of lockdown.
Some more names confirmed for the summer of 2021 are AJ Tracey, Megan Thee Stallion and Mabel, all set for Marlay Park after Longitude, like everywhere else, was forced to cancel its preparations for 2020 back in April.
“Following the government’s advice to ban all licensed events over 5,000 capacity until August 31 2020, it is with a heavy heart that we must confirm that Longitude 2020 will no longer be taking place this summer,” a statement confirmed at the time.
“While we are obviously devastated that Longitude won’t be going ahead, the health and safety of our fans and staff is paramount and we fully respect the government’s decision.”
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank the frontline workers currently giving their all to keep us safe.”
