A quarter-of-a-century of the Foo Fighters is being looked back on.

It’s probably fair to say the 25th anniversary of the Foo Fighters isn’t going exactly and Dave Grohl would have envisioned it, but the latest feature to mark the occasion is a short, retrospective documentary entitled Times Like Those which is streaming online now.

The main casualty of this year’s birthday plans was the US Van Tour, on which Dave Grohl had been hoping to recreate the first run of live shows he embarked on after launching the Foo Fighters initially as an anonymous solo vehicle, as best as he could considering the behemoth it has since grown in to.

Regardless, he did manage to get the band’s tenth studio album recorded this year, it due for release on February 5th 202 after sessions which were co-produced by Greg Kurstin.
