Kim Gordon has announced European and North American tour dates which will bring her to the UK in May.
Gordon is set to play shows in Manchester, Bristol and at All Points East in London following next month’s appearance at the BBC 6 Music Festival, and will remain in Europe until mid-June. North American shows are then booked for July and September.
It supports the Sonic Youth co-founder’s debut solo album No Home Record which was released last year. “Why a solo record? And why now?,” Gordon said. “I don’t know, but it wouldn’t have happened without the persistence of Justin Raisen. Living in LA the last few years it feels like home, but the transience of the place makes it feel sometimes like no home.”
