The 1975 have put the focus on sustainability after announcing a show at Finsbury Park in London for this summer.
With Charli XCX, Clairo, Pale Waves, Phoebe Bridgers, Beabadoobee, Deb Never, Cavetown and more artists also set to be confirmed across two stages for July 11th, various measures have been announced to keep the day as carbon neutral as possible.
These include sustainably sourced HVO fuel from Europe powering the entire event, an all-digital ticket drive and tree-planting pledges from both Festival Republic and The 1975 in association with the Trees For Cities and One Tree Planted initiatives.
The event itself will come after the release of The 1975’s new album Notes On A Conditional Form, which was recently delayed to April 24th from its original date of February 21st. A UK and Ireland arena tour, meanwhile, is set to open in Nottingham on February 15th.
