Mystery Jets have confirmed the new release date for their A Billion Heartbeats album.

The LP’s release was postponed last year due to the ill health of frontman Blaine Harrison, who said at the time: “It is with a lump in my throat that I bring you the following news from my bed at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, a place that has been something of a home from home to me over the years.”

“Early on Saturday morning I awoke with a swelling in my thigh and a temperature in the high thirties. Upon arrival at A&E I was put straight onto the emergency operation list to halt an infection close to my bone from spreading around my body.”

Now the album has been set for April 3rd, one not about ‘making pointed opinions’ according to Harrison, but about ‘being a mirror for what’s going on, reflecting back the way people are feeling’.
