Morrissey will build up to the release of his new solo album with some European dates which include UK arena shows in Leeds and London.

Prior to the release of I Am Not A Dog On A Chain on March 20th, the tour is set to open at Leeds’ First Direct Arena and will then head for France and Germany before concluding on March 14th with another arena stop at the SSE Wembley.

I Am Not A Dog On A Chain was recorded in France and Los Angeles with producer Joe Chicarelli, who is now on his fourth Morrissey album. “This is his boldest and most adventurous album yet,” Chicarelli said.

“He has pushed the boundaries yet again – both musically and lyrically. And once again proving that as a songwriter and singer, he is in his own category. In truth, no one can be Morrissey but Morrissey!”

Tour dates:

9 – Cologne, Germany, Palladium
11 – Paris, France, Salle Pleyel
