Phoebe Bridgers has teamed up with Fiona Apple and Matt Berninger on a festive-themed single – something which is becoming a bit of a tradition for her.
Fiona Apple provides vocals and Berninger takes on the role of newscaster for the 7 O’Clock News/Silent Night single. “Happy Holidays to everyone whose family has been literally or figuratively torn apart by Donald Trump,” Bridgers says. “And to my racist, xenophobic, misogynistic, hypocritical family members, fuck you. Thanks Fiona, Matt, Simon, and Garfunkel.”
Bridgers will start next year with a Tibet House benefit concert in New York, and is due to support The National in Australia and New Zealand.
