Conor O’Brien is streaming a new Villagers EP online ahead of a vinyl release on November 22nd.
Did You Know, Sunday Walker, Adora Venera and Note To Self (For Michael) make up the EP, recorded around time of the sessions which led to last year’s The Art Of Pretending To Swim album. “The tracks that fell through the cracks; it turns out they had their own story to tell,”O’Brien says.
“The Sunday Walker EP is a collection of lost songs as much as it is an emotional arc. Songs of loss and songs of realisation. Songs of empathy and isolation.”
The Sunday Walker EP coincides with a European tour which is due to open on November 7th in Amsterdam.
