New Music Friday: The Black Keys – Let’s Rock

Lets Rock

The Black Keys have released their Let’s Rock album on this New Music Friday – have a listen on Live4ever.

Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney’s first studio record since 2014’s Turn Blue came somewhat out of the blue when its announcement followed the surprise release of their Lo/Hi single back in March; “When we’re together we are the Black Keys, that’s where that real magic is and always has been since we were 16,” Auerbach said at the time. “The record is like a homage to electric guitar.” Carney added.

“We took a simple approach and trimmed all the fat like we used to.”

The duo will start touring the album a little later this year with North American legs booked for September, October and November.
