Jake Bugg has been added to the inaugural Fusion Presents event in Liverpool.

The organisers of the city’s Fusion Festival unveiled their new venture for Sefton Park on August 30th earlier this year with Franz Ferdinand, Echo & The Bunnymen, Circa Waves and Sam Fender on the bill, and now Jake Bugg has joined them. “Liverpool is an iconic city, entrenched in music heritage and we’ve wanted to launch a new event for the last couple of years,” event director Damien Sanders said.

“The biggest challenge has been finding the right artist for the job. We’re over the moon that we were able to secure one of the world’s most successful rock bands to launch Fusion Presents and we cannot wait to see them perform in our new home, Sefton Park.”

Headlining the event will be Kings Of Leon in a UK festival exclusive for the band.
