Tickets for the two-stage event due to be headlined by Liam Gallagher at Finsbury Park next year disappeared within minutes of going on sale this morning.
More acts are on the way for June 29th 2018, but with Gallagher the only confirmed name so far, it’s another sign of the resurgence which the former Oasis frontman has been enjoying this year since going solo, though as with his imminent UK and Ireland arena tour, there are already grumblings about resale prices on secondary ticketing sites.
Gallagher’s debut solo album As You Were went to number one in the UK earlier this month, becoming one of the country’s fastest selling releases of 2017 in the process.
“Acquiring the help of esteemed songwriter and producer Greg Kurstin (Beck, Tegan and Sara, Foo Fighters) to add creative and technical flair to an undoubted vocal prevalence, there is a notable bridging of the gap on much of a record where both lyrical astuteness and biting vocals meet with enticing effect,” Live4ever’s review reads.
