LIFE have shared the latest racket from their forthcoming debut album Popular Music, which’ll be out on May 26th.
Here we have proof that sometimes mono-syllable gibberish is all a young band needs to get its point across, but frontman Mez Sanders-Green has already been more elaborate on the themes running thorough their first record anyway. “’Popular Music’ sounds like panic and anxiety, it’s the sound of sh***ing it about whatever happens next week, about what you can weigh through on the self-checkout to get your beans cheaper,” he’s said.
“It’s an LP made up of the psyche of everyone who can see they’re getting f***ed and there’s a lot of people getting f***ed right now.”
He had much more to say when the band visited Live4ever’s Media Lounge at the 2017 South By Southwest Festival in Austin. Much more on that coming very soon.
