Ride have confirmed their first album in two decades is called Weather Diaries and will be released on June 16th.
The track Charm Assault, which received its premiere last month, now has an official video to go with this announcement; in common with the rest of the LP it was mixed by the band’s former collaborator Alan Moulder and produced by DJ Erol Alkan.
Of the second new track which was first aired last month, Andy Bell said:
“Out of all the new songs Home Is A Feeling comes closest to the early Ride sound.”
Ride play North American shows in July, calling at Toronto’s Massey Hall, Boston’s Royale, Terminal 5 in New York, Philadelphia and Sixth & I in Washington, DC.
