Bob Dylan will be touring UK arenas in May 2017.
Off the back of this year’s Fallen Angels album and his Nobel Prize in Literature award, Dylan travels to the UK for shows in Cardiff, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Glasgow, Liverpool and London next spring.
He might be in Britain soon then, but Dylan won’t be in Sweden to collect his Nobel Prize. Having taken an age to even acknowledge his prestigious honour, the veteran songwriter was reported last month by Rolling Stone to have told organisers, ‘he wishes he could receive the prize personally, but other commitments make it unfortunately impossible’, and that they in turn had ‘respected his decision’.
