The Stone Roses have shared their new single ‘All For One‘.
One of the most hotly anticipated tracks in recent memory got its premiere just before 8pm (BST) today on BBC Radio 1, the first taste of recording sessions which Ian Brown, John Squire, Mani and Reni have been undertaking at Paul Epworth’s Church Studios in north London.
When announcing their reunion in October 2011, frontman Brown signalled the band’s intention to make new material a part of their comeback, but it’s taken until now for anything to emerge despite countless rumours and whispers during the years since.
The Stone Roses will have fresh music then ready to go when they play four nights at the home of Manchester City FC next month. From there they move on to New York’s Madison Square Garden on June 30th and headline T In The Park in July before playing Marlay Park in Dublin on the 9th of that month.
