Speaking to sziget.hu in the wake of Blur’s performance at the Hungarian festival, James revealed the pair in question are ‘working together on a lot of stuff’, but did not elaborate on what the potential collaboration could entail.
“Damon and Noel Gallagher are working together on a lot of stuff, so whatever was back then is not relevant anymore,” he said. “But we have to add that young bands today are all very nice. We were totally intolerable.”
Noel Gallagher and Damon Albarn apparently put their well-publicised Nineties rivalry behind them after a chance meeting in London last year. Back in March, the reconciliation went one stage further when Gallagher joined Albarn and his Blur bandmate Graham Coxon onstage at the Teenage Cancer Trust concert series for a rendition of ‘Tender‘.
