Ian Brown will release a limited edition, solo career spanning box-set later this year, the Stone Roses frontman has announced.
Entitled ‘Collected‘ and due for release on December 3rd, the deluxe package will tell the story of his solo career from 1998 to the time of the Roses’ reunion last year, and is to include all eight solo albums on CD, as well as a disc of B-sides and another packed with remixes.
A 12” vinyl record featuring previously unreleased, remixed tracks will also be available, as will a DVD containing all of Brown’s solo promos, while a hardback book described as being ‘lavishly illustrated’ and a hand-numbered, personally autographed silkscreen poster are also a part of the package.
Ian Brown’s solo career began just under two years after the messy end of The Stone Roses in 1996 with the debut record ‘Unfinished Monkey Business‘. He achieved his solo commercial zenith in 2001 with the ‘Music Of The Spheres‘ album, which spawned the hit single ‘F.E.A.R.‘.
