Split Festival curator and Futureheads guitarist Ross Millard has compiled a special Spotify playlist showcasing a selection of the event’s line-up as it prepares to get underway this weekend.

The festival will take place at the Ashbrooke Sports Club over the 17th and 18th of September, with The Drums and The Charlatans topping bills which also feature local favourites Little Comets and Frankie & The Heartstrings.

As well as the bands, those attending this year’s Split festival will also be treated to an evening of comedy courtesy of the Laughing Penguin Comedy Club’s Tony Jameson, while MasterChef finalist and TV chef Stacie Stewart will be laying on the food at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

Tickets can still be purchased at £25 for a day and £40 for the weekend at the site or at various venues around Sunderland. Millard’s Spotify playlist can be viewed here.
