Roger Waters Has Highest Grossing Tour Of Last Month

Former Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters has beaten various fellow veterans and pop stars to top the list of highest grossing tours last month.

Billboard‘s Box Office has Waters bringing in over $29m worldwide in June, comfortably ahead of Taylor Swift who is in second place with close to $16m. Elsewhere, rock survivor Ozzy Osbourne is fifth, while Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder comes in at ten.

Roger Waters is currently out on the road with a re-imagination of Pink Floyd’s high concept, but ultimately troubled, original The Wall tour, which first launched in 1980 in support of the band’s eleventh studio album of the same name.

After recent dates in the UK, Waters is now touring main-land Europe and is due to play in Athens tonight (July 8th).
