US stars the Foo Fighters will headline the final day of this year’s T In The Park festival tonight, following in the footsteps of well-received sets from fellow bill-toppers the Arctic Monkeys and Coldplay.

On Friday night, Arctic Monkeys showcased tracks from recent album ‘Suck It and See‘ alongside well established favourites such as ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor‘ and ‘Mardy Bum‘. The Sheffield band were joined by frontman Alex Turner‘s The Last Shadow Puppets colleague Miles Kane for closer ‘505‘, as a confident performance showed them growing more comfortable with the challenge of headlining major festivals.

Last night, Coldplay also treated fans to a career-spanning set, displaying an ease with their surroundings which can only come from years of touring the biggest venues in the world. Like the Arctic Monkeys before them, new tracks were blended with old favourites, with recent single ‘Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall‘ bringing their show to an end.

Acts including Cast, Pulp and Blondie will appear on the Main Stage today ahead of Foo Fighters’ headline spot later tonight.
